Announces Award of the OCTO Project
Silver Spring,
Maryland- April 5, 2002- DC Information Systems Inc. (DCIS), one
of the largest Federal Government Systems Integrator, offering an
extensive range of Information Technology Solutions, announced today
the award of the OCTO Relational Database Systems Support Project.
This contract
awarded by the DC Government Office of the Chief Technology Officer
includes providing onsite Oracle and SQL Server database administration
support to OCTO. The project entails the supports of several DC
city applications in addition to support of databases that have
historically been supported by outside District agencies for internal
applications. It is expected that this project will result in DC
Government agencies receiving improved service levels and reduced
costs, as well as maintaining high levels of service on all supported
relational database systems and related applications.
