DCIS Awarded Contract for UCC/DC Net Project

Silver Spring, Maryland- May13, 2002- DC Information Systems Inc. (DCIS), one of the largest Federal Government Systems Integrator, offering an extensive range of Information Technology Solutions, announced today yet another award, the UCC/DC Net project.

The District of Columbia intends to deploy a Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) to interconnect District government offices, schools, libraries, police, fire, EMS, and other related facilities via fiber optic networks. The MAN will provide transport facilities for data, voice, and video applications. Subcontracting to TRW, the prime contractor of the UCC/DC Net project, DCIS will be providing the Optical Network Engineering services for this project.
